Now open the YouTube Studio in your chrome and go to the customization tab. there you will find three options Layout, Branding, and Basic Info.

In the layout option, you will mainly find two options one is video spotlight and another is featured sections. here you can add your channel trailer or featured videos for returning subscribers in the video spotlight option. now if you have a good playlist then you can add them in the featured section. this section is mainly for the home section of your channel so you have to customize it with good videos and playlists.

How to Customize Branding Option in Youtube Studio

The branding option contains three settings that are Picture or Channel Logo, Banner Image, and Video Watermark. in the picturesque setting you have to add a good profile picture or logo for your channel, and in the banner image, you have to upload a good banner image for your channel. in the last, if you want to add a watermark to your video, you can add it through the video watermark setting.

How to Customize Basic Info Option in Youtube Studio

Now in the Basic info option, there are too many settings available to customize. the settings are Name, Handle, Description, Channel URL, Custom URL, Links, Links In Banner, and Contact Info. so now let’s see what are the works of this setting and how you can customize it.

Name – here you have to write your channel name.
Handle – in this setting, you have to write a handle name for your channel, like my channel name is Daswhale, so I created my channel handle name as youtube.com/@daswhale.
Description – every channel has a about section. you can add your channel about information through here.
Channel URL – you can find this option there but you can’t edit this.
Custom URL – as the channel URL can not be edited but in the custom URL section you can edit your custom URL.
Links – you can add any social media or website links here through this setting. this will appear in your channel.
Links In Banner – the links you have added are going to be shown on the channel banner in desktop mode. with this setting, you can choose how many links you want to show in the channel banner. the maximum number is 5 links.
Contact Info – in this setting you can add your email as contact information.
